1. A spinning beachball (usually on Mac machines).

2. Flip me the beachball.

3. Hour Glass, Beachball, Spinning Wheel and other isolated reports of crashing are resolved.

4. There's no spinning beachball or whirling hourglass and no big application freeze.

5. Any seasoned user can reel off a string of examples of how the old Finder has needlessly got in their way – usually by hanging for seconds at a time displaying the spinning beachball of death.
