(1) Where the holder makes presentment for payment beyond the above time limit, the authorized payer shall reject it.

(2) No presentment for acceptance is needed for a bill of exchange payable at sight.

(3) The date of presentment for payment shall be the day when the holder submits the negotiable instrument to the holder's bank.

(4) No endorsement or presentment for payment shall be allowed before such retroactive entry.

(5) Delay in making presentment for payment is excused when the delay is caused by circumstances beyond the control of the holder, and not imputable to his default , misconduct, or negligence.

(6) The receipt shall specify the date of presentment for acceptance and shall be signed.

(7) In NO other case is presentment for acceptance necessary in order to render liable any party to the bill.

(8) Where a bill is payable after sight, presentment for acceptance is necessary in order to fix the maturity of the instrument.

(9) Where the holder makes presentment for payment beyond the time limit for presentment for payment, the holder's bank shall reject it.

(10) Presentation, presentment: The collecting bank or the holder of a draft shows and hands over it to the drawee for acceptance or payment.

(11) Presentment for payment is necessary in order to render the indorser of a note liable.

(12) When a Bill is accepted generally(), presentment for payment is not necessary in order to render the acceptor liable.

(13) Forest wardens, verderers, regarders, foresters and sworn jurors made presentments before them of offences against vert and venison.

(14) We see therefore that the Framers were acutely conscious that the bicameral requirement and the Presentment Clauses would serve essential constitutional functions.

(15) Where the applicant without the advice of settlement requests refund, the drawer bank shall process it at least one month after the time limit for presentment for payment expires.

(16) The indorser of a bill, by indorsing it engages that, on due presentment, it shall be accepted and paid according to its tenor.

(17) Persons suspected of crime may be rendered liable to trial by indictment presentment , or by information.

(18) For the bank draft inquired about by the agent bank of the drawee, the refund may be processed only after the time limit for presentment for payment has expired.

(19) Article 36 A bill of exchange may not be negotiated by endorsement, if it is not accepted or paid or if the time limit for presentment for payment expires.

(20) The holder shall authorize the holder's bank to collect the payment or directly make presentment to the drawee for payment within the time limit for presentment for payment.

(21) When the cause of delay ceases to operate , presentment must be made with reasonable diligence.

(22) The countermand of a cheque only takes effect after the expiration oflimit of time for presentment.
