1. Objective:To know more about the anatomic characteristics of scalenus minimus muscle and its relationship with brachial plexus.

2. Objective: To describe the anatomical characteristics of scalenus minimus muscle and its relationship to the brachial plexus.

3. Methods: Pierce with acupotome from the posterior border of sternocleidomastoid and directly scalenus and levator scapulae.

4. Methods Embalmed adult cadavers ( 64 sides ) were dissected, and the anatomy of scalenus minimus muscle, especially at the neural surface was observed.

5. Methods:Pierce with acupotome from the posterior border of sternocleidomastoid and directly release scalenus and levator scapulae.

6. The clinical local pathological findings of cervical rib syndrome were the cervical rib, abnormal scalenus and their compression on the brachial plexus.

7. Objective To investigate the morphological characteristic of the neural surface of scalenus minimus muscle and its clinical significance.

8. The origin. course, branches and distribution of the dorsal scapular nerve, and the anatomical relationship between the nerve and middle scalenus muscle were observed on 32 sides of adult cadavers.

9. Materials and Methods:24 embalmed cadavers were dissected. The anatomy of scalenus minimus muscle and its relationship with brachial plexus were measured.
