1. Labyrinthitis, an infection or inflammation of the inner ear.

2. Otitis in the inner ear (labyrinthitis) often arises from respiratory infection, syphilis, or otitis media.

3. Methods MRI findings in 10 patients ( 10 ears ) with clinically suggested to be labyrinthitis were retrospectively analyzed.

6. Conclusion A combination of HRCT with MRI is of great value in making correct diagnosis of labyrinthitis ossificans.
