1. Concentrations of deicer and anti-icer components previously observed in airport effluents have, at times, exceeded the toxicity levels shown in results of this study.

2. The study shows that the electro-thermal deicer pad is provided with good deicing performance, and the deicing scheme is feasible.

3. The deicer which is adopted has low production cost and high efficiency, which is particularly suitable for electrified wire netting in mountainous areas.
