1. Maximize button in the normal state.

2. Maximize button in the hot state.

3. Drag the Maximize button to its window location.

4. Click the maximize button.

5. Maximizing windows: When you click on the blue maximize button in Windows XP, the window you are viewing occupies the whole screen.

6. Maximize the Layout window by clicking the window's Maximize button.
