1. Dioctadecyl glutarate (OGO) was synthesized by esterification method. The sample of crystals was characterized by DSC, XRD and IR spectroscopy.

2. Cingular's discontinuance of the Ogo is unfortunate, especially for thousands of deaf and hard-of-hearing people.

3. The solubility curves of OGO in both solvents were measured. The growth conditions of crystals in toluene were discussed.

4. The experiment results of crystallinity in some organic solvents showed that there was a strong tendency to spontaneous nucleation in the solution of OGO.

5. According to the reactor theory, concentric-circles reactor with movable partition-wall (called OGO reactor for short) was developed based on the OCO reactor.
