1) Inflorescences initially white tomentose, glabrescent, to more than 50-flowered.

2) Leaf blade abaxially initially densely yellow tomentose, glabrescent ; inflorescences to 40-flowered, larger, initially densely white tomentose.

3) Leaves 3–5-foliolate, abaxially tomentose, glabrescent , subglabrous when old. Branchlets, petioles, pedicel, and abaxial surface of calyx with sparse, glandular hairs.

4) Description: Scandent subshrubs , to 2 m tall , stems, petioles, and inflorescences thin pubescent, glabrescent.

5) Stipules lanceolate, ca. 4 mm, membranous, densely covered with short brown pubescence, glabrescent , basal ones bract like and persistent.

6) Shrubs or small trees to 8 m. Branchlets terete, puberulent when young, glabrescent.
