(1) The cellular events of intramembranous ossification, cartilage formation, endochondral ossifications, and bone remodeling appear in the callus simultaneously or sequentially.

(2) Intramembranous bone preserves more volumes after onlay grafting than endochondral bone does.

(4) In the allografts, no intramembranous new bone was seen along the shaft of the graft, and in fact it, appeared that there was a layer of fibrous tissue inhibiting such bone.
