1. And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.

2. And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

3. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See [that] no man know [it].

4. And they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive?

5. Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.

6. But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

7. And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.

8. We men of study, whose heads are in our books, have need to be straitly looked after!
