(1) MegaBus and BoltBus primarily sell tickets through their Web sites, and though both companies also sell tickets over the phone, they charge $3 extra for reservations booked by an agent.

(2) Stagecoach has taken megabus into Texas and California after successes in the Midwest.

(3) But BoltBus, MegaBus and other new lines typically avoid those stations and depart from central curbside locations instead.
