1. Objective To prepare purified B. melitensis 0 chain M antigen and its specific monoclonal antibody(McAb).

2. Conclusion Brucella melitensis was the major cause of brucellosis epidemics in Chaoyang city, indicating that sheep should be specifically monitored in prevention and control of brucellosis.

3. The invention discloses a brucella melitensis immune labeled recombinant strain and the application thereof in the preparation of vaccine.

4. Brucella were isolated from stomach content of 5 aborted fetuses at a sheep farm in Xinjiang. Biological and molecular analysis revealed that these are Brucella melitensis biovar 3.

5. The results showed that the predominant species of Brucella in 1965,1985,2006 and 2007 were B. melitensis and B. suis biovar 3 and both B. melitensis biovar 3 respectively.

6. Blood culture of the pathogens collected from 18 patients in 2009 revealed 2 strains of type 3 Brucella melitensis.

7. Objective: To obtain fusion protein GST-L7L12 and purified ribosomal L7L12 protein of Brucella melitensis, and to establish indirect ELISA method for detecting antibodies against L7L12 agent.
