Sinn Féin Sinn Féin /ˌʃɪn ˈfeɪn/ an Irish political party, active especially in Northern ireland, which wants Northern Ireland to become part of the Republic of Ireland. It is sometimes called the ‘political wing of the IRA’, and in the past supported the use of violence against British rule in Northern Ireland.
